Through their Take the Lead Project, Splash Adaptive - Water Ski & Wake Alberta was able to offer two successful coaching courses, one a grassroots coaching clinic and one was an Adaptive specific coaching course. As the organization works on their gender equity priorities, these were two opportunities to bring more women into coaching roles.

Through this project, they were able to support women to attend and had 50% women attendees in both courses. This project also supported the expanding Splash Adaptive program in order to offer it in more locations across Alberta and each workshop requires a team of facilitators and specialized equipment to support the needs of the course and participants.
