Go Girl Carnival

Kids Up Front Calgary has hosted a Go Girl Carnival in August in partnership with Green Fools Theatre. This program targeted girls ages 6-12 years old, as an opportunity to try learning a new skill in a location they might not have access to due to financial or transportation barriers. The girls learned a variety of circus skills and had the opportunity to participate in age appropriate educational activities relating to diversity, inclusion and anti-racism.

The program supported girls from a range of abilities and provided the opportunity for both participants and parents to continue to create social connections through participation in Kids Up Front opportunities.
